Zagreb, Croatia – December 5th, 2021 – Tech entrepreneur and Matterless co-founder Damir Firšt will lead a session on “Metaverse and Embodiment on the Internet” at the 56th Zagreb Salon of Architecture and Urbanism.  Firšt’s presentation will address how our relationship with technology is evolving from passive screen use to immersive virtual environments where digital experiences are becoming deeply integrated into everyday life to consider how technology can redefine reality and collective experiences.

Drawing from concepts in speculative fiction, cyberpunk culture, and solarpunk, Firšt will explore the cultural, sensory, and societal implications of AR and virtual worlds. With perspectives on emerging AR experiences, the limitations of current tech, and the potential to anchor virtual layers in real-world environments, Firšt invites audiences to think about the potential of art to reimagine our approach to sustainable tech and social justice.
